Bise Peshawar Girls take lead against boys in SSC exam

Peshawar: Girls remained on top with 18 top most positions among the top twenty. Similarly girls grabbed all the three top positions in the humanities group while in the science group they grabbed the first and third positions. According to the the controller exam Nasir Ali, the overall result of the science group remained 87.78 percent while 70.68 percent from the humanities group pass the exam from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar.

A total of 25902 candidates appeared in the science group and 22738 were successful, the pass percentage in the group was 87.78 percent. A total of 20241 candidates appeared in the humanities group and only 14307 passed the exam. The overall percentage of the humanities group remained 70.68. The controller of examination Nasir Ali announced the results while chairman of the board Farhad Jan was also present on this occasion.

According to the results Nayab Kareem of Peshawar Public School topped in overall boys and girls with 963 marks while Farhatullah Khan of Peshawar Model School Boys stood second by securing 960 marks from Peshawar Model School. Similarly Reesha Khan Khattak of Presentation convent School Peshawar grabbed third position by securing 957 marks. Noreen Saeed of forward High School Peshawar stood first in Humanities group by securing 861 marks and Zahra Batool of the same school got second position in the same group who secured 860 marks. Sidra Jan of University Model School Peshawar was declared third among the Humanities group by securing 857 marks. App
