Applications on prescribed forms are invited for admission to the the following programmes of the University for Fall Semester 2008-09.

Programmes Offered
B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture - Four years (Morning/Evening)

    * F.Sc. (Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering) with at least 2nd division.
    * Candidates must have domicile from Districts of Barani Areas of Punjab and Islamabad.
    * For evening programme seats are on all Pakistan basis.
    * HEC-Japanese & USAID Need Based Scholarships may also be available

DVM - Five years (Morning)

    * F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 2nd division.
    * Candidate must have domicile from the districts of Barani areas of Punjab and Islamabad.
    * For Open Merit seats are on all Punjab basis.

BBA (Hons.) - Four years (Morning)

    * At least second division in Intermediate or equivalent certificate.

BS(CS) - Four years (Morning/Evening)

    * At least second division in Intermediate or equivalent certificate.

B. Ed - One Year(Evening)

    * BA / B.Sc. degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 2nd division..

M. Ed. - One Year(Evening)

    * Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 2nd division.

M.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture in: -Two years  (Morning)

   1. Agronomy
   2. Agriculture Economics
   3. Entomology
   4. Food Technology
   5. Horticulture
   6. Plant Pathology
   7. Soil Science
   8. Plant Breeding & Genetics
          * B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture in the relevant subject with CGPA of 2.50/4.00.

M.Sc.(Hons.) Poultry Science: -Two years  (Morning)

    * DVM / B.Sc.(AH) with at least 2.50/4.00 CGPA.

M. Sc. in:- Two years   (Morning/Evening)

   1. Anthropology
   2. Botany
   3. Biology
   4. Biochemistry
   5. Economics
   6. Sociology
   7. Statistics
   8. Zoology

    * Bachelor degree in the relevant field with at least 2nd division..
    * For M.Sc. Anthropology, applicant must have studied Sociology, Economics, Social work, Psychology or Geography at Bachelor's level.
    * For Evening programme seats are on Pakistan basis.

M. Sc. in:- Two years   (Morning)

   1. Wildlife Management
   2. Envoirmental Sciences

    * B.Sc. degree or euqivalent qualification with at least 2nd division in the relevant fields.

M. Phil. in:- Two years   (Morning)

   1. Botany
   2. Biology
   3. Biochemistry
   4. Economics
   5. Zoology

    * M.Sc. or its equivalent qualifications in the relevant field with CGPA not less than 2.50/4.00 or with 50% marks under the Annual System.

   
M. Phil. in:- Two years   (Morning)

   1. Forestry & Range Managment
   2. Wildlife Management
   3. Envoirmental Sciences

    * M.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons) degree in relevant subject with CGPA of 2.50/4.00 or with 50% marks under the Annual System.

MBA -3½ years (Morning/Evening)

    * Bachelor degree with at least 2nd division.

    * Bachelor degree with at least 2nd division. B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree holders with CGPA of 2.50/4.00 would, however, be preferred.

    * BBA (Hons.) four years or equivalent degree, with at least 2nd division, or 2.50/4.00 CGPA.

MCS / MIT-Two years   (Morning/Evening)

    * Bachelor degree with at least 2nd division.

    * M.S/M.Phil /M.Sc. (Hons) with first division in relevant field or CGPA of at least 3.00/4.00 for Ph.D in the disciplines other than Agriculture (ix to xvi).
    * The Ph.D. applications must be accompanied by comprehensive project proposals.

* For admission in M.Sc (Hons.)/M.Phil/MS, NTS is compulsory. However, the university offers provisional admission for Fall Semester 2009-10 with the condition that students will have to produce the result of NTS by the end of the 1st semester, otherwise their admission will automatically stand cancelled.

** Candidates of Ph.D in Bio-Chemistry, Botany and Zoology must have cleared the International GRE; if not, they will have to clear it before submission of thesis, otherwise his/her admission shall stand cancelled.
Important Note:

   1. The Application Package, containing the prospectus and application forms will be available from the offices of the respective Faculties/Institutes/Division on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash. Candidates would be required to deposit the Entry Test fee of Rs. 500/- at the time of submission of application forms in the respective admission office as given in the above table for Schedule of Events.
   2. Candidates who could not appear in the scheduled GAT-General test may appear in specially arranged GAT test on August 30, 2009. For further details visit NTS website www.nts.org.pk
   3. Applications, complete in all respects, accompanied into the academic credentials, domicile, migration certificate etc. must be submitted to the respective admission office within the due date. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
   4. Applicants must have obtained all the pre-requisite qualifications from the recognized institutions.
   5. No separate intimation for entry test or admission fee schedule etc. will be sent.
   6. Students awaiting results may also apply but must provide the result card at the time of entry test.
