LAHORE: Chairman Chief Minister's Taskforce for Elementary Education and Education Foundation, Raja Anwar has said that government is eliminating the mafias of booti, guide books and guess papers for improving the standard of education. He said that the examination system has been made transparent and action will be taken against the institutions showing poor performance. He was addressing a seminar on "Education Standard" held at Education Board Bahawalpur today. Chairperson Education Board Bilquis Akram, EDOs, officers of education department and heads of various educational institutions attended the seminar. Raja Muhammad Anwar further said that educational progress is not possible without activating community. He said that attendance of teachers in the educational institutions should be ensured and absence of teachers without any justification will not be tolerated. He said that teachers should present before the students as a role model so that they could benefit from best training. He said that cars and motorcycles will be provided to the officers and staff of education department.F.P. Report
