Balochistan University closed for another 3 days
QUETTA: University of Balochistan (UoB) was closed for another three days from today (Monday), as a hand out issued by the university administration issued here on Sunday. The hand out said that the academic as well as other administrative staff, however, would remain present in the university.
It may be mentioned here that the UoB was scheduled to reopen for the routine academic activities on Thursday after it had been closed down following scuffle between two students’ groups in the UoB and two other educational institutions of the province.
However, it could not be reopened on Thursday, and now on Sunday, a hand out was issued by the UoB administration announcing the closure of the university for another three days.It may also be mentioned here that the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Science in Uthal, Khuzdar Engineering University and Bolan Medical College were also closed following the situation. Later, BMC was reopened on Thursday, but the other two higher educational institutions were not opened.The News
