UK school opens office
LAHORE, Aug 7: Robert Gibson, who is United Kingdom’s deputy high commissioner in Karachi, has said the establishment of the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) offices in Pakistan is a new demonstration of the UK and Pakistan’s long historical, cultural and business links.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of LSBF’s regional office in Lahore on Friday, Mr Gibson said education was one of the most important links between the UK and Pakistan.

LSBF project director Komil Mamajanov said school in conjunction with many institutions would be launching a new initiative and give away its books and interactive course for no cost to all ACCA students.

“The school is also offering emerging market scholarships and Pakistani students coming to study postgraduate degrees to the UK in some cases will pay less than 50 per cent of the fee,” he added.
