CSS result next week, Lower House informed
ISLAMABAD (APP): Amidst charges of tempering the CSS result and unnecessary delay in its announcement, National Assembly was assured on Friday that result of Central Superior Service examination of 2010 will be announced in next week. The assurance came in response to a Calling Attention Notice by Advisor to the Prime Minister Nawabzada Ghazanfar Gul, though the movers remained unsatisfied and demanded to constitute a Committee of the House to investigate the matter. The Advisor also admitted some mistakes in the list when the member Kashmala Tariq insisted to inform the House whether the list of successful candidates in written test was issued twice and merit was violated and failed candidates were included in the list of those summoned for interview. "I categorically deny, there was any delay in announcement of result. It shall come in next week," Gul said in response to Calling Attention by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Kashmala Tariq and Pervaiz Malik. Though the PML-N members had continued boycott of the proceedings, yet the lone mover present in the House, Kashmala Tariq made the Advisor accept, some wrong was done. "Yes, the list was issued twice. There was an error and it was the computer mistake that has been corrected," Gul said, endorsing Kashmala. Kashmala has charged with allegation of tempering the list to include blue eyed into it and was issued twice. The merit was also violated by changing the positions of the candidates in the merit list. "This is an issue of the future of 900 contestants. The list was changed twice. First, five more contestants were included in the list revising it from 900 contestants to 905, then the topers were moved down on the list, elevating those possessing positions below," she said. Some failed candidates in written test have also been invited for interview while 13 girls who moved High Court, have also won the case, she added. She also criticized the Advisor for not coming to the House well prepared and his replies were unsatisfactory. In response, the Advisor mentioned to some problems in group allocation for 2009 candidates but said, there was no delay in 2010 result. "For 2010 results, there was some problem in the computer that has been removed. Yes, the list has been issued twice. It was a mistake, but not harmful," he said. Engr Amir Muqam also took exception on the reply and said, not replying properly tantamount to an insult to the House. "Calling Attention has not been replied satisfactorily and the Advisor should come to the House well prepared." When Kashmala Tariq insisted to constitute a Committee of the House after the Advisor had admitted the mistakes, Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza said, let the government probe it and if the members shall not be satisfied, we can form a Committee.Nation
