FBISE announces result of HSSC- II supple exams
ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Saturday announced Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC- II) supplementary examination with an overall pass percentage of 38.14.

According to a notification, 6,269 candidates appeared in the supplementary examination, held in October in which 2,391 candidates passed the HSSC examination.

In humanities group, 2,297 candidates appeared out of which 650 passed the examination with a percentage of 28.52 while in pre-medical group 279 passed the exam against 554 with a percentage of 50.36.

1,170 candidates appeared in pre-engineering group while 661 passed the examination and passing percentage was 56.50. In science general group, 472 candidates passed out of a total of 1,350 and the passing percentage of this group was 34.96.

In commerce group, 870 students appeared in exam while 301 passed the exam and the percentage remained 34.60.

In med tech group 28 out of a total 46 candidates passed the examinaton with pass percentage of 60.87.

All candidates placed under compartment are allowed to re-appear in the failing subjects.

Applications for re-checking of papers can be submitted within 30 days of declaration of result, till January 10, 2011.

The release said that HSSC Part I & II annual examination would commence from May 4, 2011. The last date for submission of admission forms and fee is January 20, 2010. The forms can be submitted with late fee upto February 7 and with double fee upto February 17.

well i think this time passing rate is low in federal board,s results
