Lahore :May 28:  Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) has said Punjab University administration has failed in controlling the menace of drugs at PU hostels.
According to a press release issued here Monday, IJT office-bearers said that liquor was easily accessible to students residing in boy’s hostels but the quarters concerned were not taking any action against it.
They said that due to negligence of PU administration, students were getting involved in the menace of drugs which would leave drastic effects on them and on society as a whole.
Infectious diseases symposium” Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) is organising an infectious diseases symposium on Wednesday (tomorrow). The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) will have this telecast live.
According to a press release issued on Monday, there is no fee for attendance at the SKMCH venue but pre-registration is required, especially for outside participants.
