Wafaqul Madaris Slams Raids Arrests
PESHAWAR: The Wafaqul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan, on Tuesday flayed the arrest of students in the crackdown on seminaries after the Peshawar school attack and asked the government to honour the agreements with the organisation. Speaking at a press conference, deputy central president Wafaqul Madaris, Maulana Anwarul Haq, also condemned the Peshawar school carnage and killing of innocent schoolchildren. He said the Peshawar school tragedy was barbarism which has no match in the history. “The perpetrators of the tragedy have no religion,” he added. Haq said those involved in the gruesome incident should be arrested without any delay and given exemplary punishment.THE NEWS:Wednesday, December 31, 2014
