Karachi:August 22:As per gazette, 31,241 students registered of which 30,903 candidates appeared in the exams and 14,037 students cleared all the six papers.
The overall percentage of the students passed was 45.42 and 92 unfair cases were reported during and after the annual exams.
The theory examination was started from April 28 till May 21 whereas practical were conducted until June 25.
As many as 23,238 male candidates were registered of which 22,973 appeared and 9,923 candidates were declared pass in the exams.
The passing percentage was 43.19. Around 766 students passed their exams with A-1 grade, 1,741 candidates got A-grade, 2,476 received B-grade, 3,029 students had C-grade, 1,787 candidates and 124 students cleared their papers with D-grade and E-grade respectively.
Meanwhile, 8,003 female candidates were registered and 7,930 students appeared in the exams of which 4,114 candidates passed their exams.
The passing percentage was 51.88. Around 467 students managed A-1 grade, 1,024 candidates received A-grade, 1,225 students had B-grade, 1,077 candidates got C-grade, 316 students and five candidates passed their exams with D-grade and E-grade respectively.
The gazette shows that 79 educational institutions had 50 percent and above result while 38 colleges had produced less than 50 percent, around 30 percent, result and 29 colleges and higher secondary schools managed less than 30 percent, equal to 20 percent, result.
