Karachi:August 22:According to the gazette issued, 2,287 candidates were registered and 2,250 students appeared in the papers of which 987 candidates were declared pass.
The overall passing percentage was 43.87 percent. Only a single unfair case was reported in the science general group.
The written papers were scheduled from April 28 to May 21 whereas practical exams were conducted until June 25.
It shows that 1,200 male students were registered of which 1,178 candidates appeared and 419 managed to pass the exams.
The passing percentage was 35.57 percent. Only one male student got A-1 grade, 49 candidates had A-grade, 83 students received B-grade, 178 candidates managed C-grade and 108 students cleared their papers in D-grade.
On the other hand, 1,087 female candidates were registered and 1,072 students appeared of which 568 candidates cleared their annual exams.
As many as 16 girls got A-1 grade, 74 students passed their papers with A-grade, 207 candidates received B-grade, 221 students had C-grade and 50 candidates managed D-grade.
The gazette further shows that at least 12 educational institutes had produce zero percent result whereas seven colleges had less than 20 percent result. Around 13 colleges or higher secondary school had less than 30 percent, around 20 percent, result whereas 20 HSS and colleges had produced less than 50 percent, around 30 percent, result.
