NOWSHERA:August 27: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said on Friday that it was the vision of his government to provide quality education to the deprived segments of the society.
Addressing a prize distribution ceremony at Peace School System in Nowshera, the chief minister said his government had succeeded to a great deal in this connection as children of poor people who could not dream of going beyond elementary education have reached medical colleges and engineering universities.

Provincial Minister Mian Jamsheduddin Kakakhel, Member National Assembly Dr Imran Khattak, District Nazim Liaqat Khattak and other district and tehsil council members were also present on the occasion.

Sanaullah, chairman, and chief executive Ijaz Badshah of the Peace School System briefed the participants about the educational facilities being provided to the students at the institution.Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister announced giving away brand new cars to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) examinations toppers Anmol Ali, Iman Ali and Kamran Tariq.

These students were awarded the cars for displaying excellent academic performance at intermediate level from Abbottabad, Mardan and Nowshera boards. The chief minister also rewarded a Montessori teacher Alishba with a brand new car for excellent performance as a teacher.

Lashing out at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister said that the federal government was denying the share of the province in the development work.He added that his government would end the loadshedding in the province as well as give additional electricity to the national grid station if the administration and distribution of the hydel power was given to the province.

The chief minister challenged the State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to an open debate on hydel power distribution issue.This he said while replying to the allegations levelled by the federal minister during a press conference on Thursday at Wapda House in Peshawar.

The chief minister accused the federal government of stealing electricity from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government launched a motorway project with own resources while the premier was constructing Motorway in Sialkot from the federal resources.The news.
