University of Health Sciences Lahore Workshop
Lahore:September 21:The concept of mandatory ethical review of research involving human and animal subjects, though gradually taking root in Pakistani institutions, still faces several daunting challenges, some of which threaten its credibility in the country.
This was noted by the experts during a workshop organised here at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Tuesday. The workshop on “Ethics in Research and Clinical Practice” was organised in collaboration with the Centre of Biomedical Ethics and Culture (CBEC), Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Karachi.
