People protest against BISE for grade-5 students’ exam decision
PESHAWAR:26 September: Scores of people belonging to various localities here on Sunday protested against the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar for its decision to make grade-5 students appear in its examination.

Talking to reporters outside the Peshawar Press Club, the demonstrators said the BISE, through a notification (8/9/2016-345/DRD), had directed all the schools to prepare their grade-5 students for the board examination to be held after four months.

They said the students would have to take English, Social Studies, Urdu, General Science, Mathematics, Pashto and Islamiyat papers within a short period of four months, saying it was impossible for them to prepare the students.

The order was issued at a time when the annual examination is just four months away and the students are barely read and write, said Imtiaz and Sher Agha from Gulbahar and Bhanamari localities. The news.
