Lahore:March 2:The annual matriculation examination 2017 started on Wednesday amid strict security arrangements under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore. Examinations for five subjects were held on the first day.

According to the BISE Lahore, the annual examination was being held under strict security and Section 144 had been imposed in and around the examination centres. Around 806 centres had been established for the examination.

A total of five examinations were organised on the first day, which included Arabic, Business Studies, Clothing and Textile in the morning, while Health and Physical Education and Geography were held in the evening shift.
