Conference on compulsory education held
Islamabad:April 24: Third round table conference titled ‘The Implementation of Compulsory Education Act (25-A), in ICT Problems and Solutions’ was organised by National Council of Social Welfare, Islamabad, says a press release.

NCSW Chairman Dr. Nadeem Shafiq Malik while chairing the conference said that education is the fundamental right of children. He said that the Constitution of Pakistan ensures that no single child may be remained deprived of this right. The present government has taken multifarious steps for the welfare of the students including scholarship to the needy students.

Syed Ishtiaq ul Hassan Gillani, CEO UGOOD, was the chief guest. Representatives of Civil Society, NGOs, Students and other stakeholders attended the conference.
