Training course inaugurated
LAHORE:June 15:Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer inaugurated a three-day training course at Emergency Services- Managers Training Centre.
The course is being organised by Rescue 1122 in order to strengthen the capacity of Station Coordinators from major districts of the Punjab to enhance the incident Command Management Skills.
The course shall cover the topics including Incident Command System and levels, Incident Risk Philosophy & Management, Incident Management Strategies and Tactics, Simulation Exercises and Incident Securing, debriefing & Documentation followed by evaluation.
Dr Foaad Shahzad Mirza Deputy Director HR / MTC along with his team of HR wing coordinated the course.
Dr Foaad Shahzad Mirza welcomed the participants and instructors and emphasised that this course shall enhance quality in the management of incidents.
Mian Riffat Zia, PMO/REO North, Ayaz Aslam, Deputy Director Operations, Abid Kamal, DEO Sialkot and Abrar Hussain, Assistant Director Fire are the Master Trainers of the course. Dr Farhan Khalid, Registrar Academy, and other senior officers were also present.
Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer said Station Coordinators play an important role at incident site and always act like a bridge with senior administration to manage any incident.
He added he hopes that all the members from all districts will learn and actively participate in the course and play an effective role to manage any incident in their districts.
Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer added that training is fundamental for the progress and development of any service. Dr Rizwan Naseer said Station Coordinators must be prepared to tackle all kind of emergencies, especially the fire emergencies and disasters.The news.
