Islamabad:August 15:The Islamabad Model College for Girls (Postgraduate), F-7/4, marked 70th Independence Day of with zeal and fervour, says a press release.

The event included, national flag hoisting by Principal Saleha Jabeen which was followed by national anthem and special prayers for the country. The function was held at college main hall. A large number of college teaching and non-teaching staff attended the event and pay homage to the heroes of Pakistan Movement.
The principal in her address highlighted the importance of Pakistan Day as the turning point in our national history. She paid glowing tributes to the Quaid-e-Azam and other leaders, who brought the Muslims of the sub-continent at one platform and created a separate homeland for them.The news.
