4,000 appear in SSUET entry test
KARACHI:September 25: Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) held Entry Test for the academic year 2018 amid strict security measures at Karachi Expo Centre in which around 4000 candidates appeared for the bachelor's degree programme. To ensure transparency and maintain discipline, strict and effective measures were taken by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Afzal Haq.

The two-hour test was held on time. A large number of candidates from Gilgit, Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and other parts of the four provinces appeared in the test. Chancellor Jawaid Anwar visited the examination halls and lauded the arrangements made by the university authorities.

Speaking on the occasion, the chancellor said that the university had prepared future leaders to succeed in the competitive world of professionals with their extra ordinary skills and outstanding abilities.
"Youth is the backbone of a society and without their participation in the national projects, no fruitful results can be achieved. SSUET is performing its duties for grooming of youth at national level with complete responsibilities," he said.
