PAF chief distributes awards among contest winners Sir Syed College
KARACHI:13 November: Sir Syed Government Girls College Karachi won the All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest held at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy Asghar Khan. Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman was the chief guest at the occasion.

Talented youth from 42 premier institutions of the country participated in the contest. The chief guest awarded prizes to the winners. The first place award in English was awarded to Faryal Shoaib from Sir Syed Government Girls College Karachi whereas second place in English went to Anam Noor of Agha Khan University Karachi.

In Urdu debates, the first place award went to Alina Malik from Sir Syed Government Girls College Karachi and second place was awarded to Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (EME) College Rawalpindi’s Muhammad Adil.

All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest has been a regular feature in the academic calendar of PAF academy since 1974. The declamation contest over the years has become a prestigious event for leading universities, colleges, and institutions from Karachi to Khyber. Enthusiastic teams gather at Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan [formerly Risalpur] every year from all over the country and actively participate in the contest.
