LAHORE:November 24: A three-day training workshop on “Outcome Based Education in Higher Education Institutions” concluded at the Government College University (GCU) on Thursday.
GCU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Hassan Amir Shah chaired the concluding session. GCU Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) organised the workshop for young faculty members of GCU which was financed by the Learning Innovation Division, Higher Education Commission.
“All good things must come to an end but this end will lead to a new beginning in the university's classrooms,” said QEC Director Iram Sohail in her address at the concluding session. She said higher education was primarily focusing on the success of students. She said universities not only deliver knowledge to the students but also measure if students are indeed learning.
