Cameras to be installed in exam halls to curb cheating
MANSEHRA:26 November: The chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad, Mohammad Sajjad Khan has said that closed circuit cameras would be installed at examination halls to curb cheating during intermediate and matriculation examinations next year.
He was speaking at the annual parents’ day function of the Mansehra Public School and College here on Saturday.
The college principal, Umar Gul Swati, presented the annual performance report on the
occasion.
The board chairman said that for the first time, cameras were being installed at examination halls in remote and far off parts of Hazara division.
He said that to ensure impartial examination process, the services of invigilators/teachers having suspicious record would not be hired.
He said that this year, a total of 120,000 students appeared in matriculation examination and passing percentage remained 67 percent, which he termed satisfactory. In the intermediate examination, the passing percentage also remained almost the same, he added.The news.
