School teacher arrested
CHARSADDA:February 6: The police on Monday arrested a primary schoolteacher for allegedly ‘sexually assaulting’ a seven-year-old minor girl in Mandani area.The father of the girl told the police that Jehanzeb, who is a teacher in state-run primary schoolteacher in Shudag, had given his daughter a toffee and took her to the nearby school. He alleged that the schoolteacher had sexually molested the minor girl.
District Police Officer (DPO) Zahoor Afridi said that the police had lodged a first information report under the Child Protection Act and arrested the accused.However, he said that the medical examination of the minor girl showed no signs of sexual abuse.
