Prof Shahid Munir resigned from additional duty as controller of exams
LAHORE:February 23: Punjab University’s Centre for Coal Technology Director Prof Dr Shahid Munir has resigned from the additional duty as controller of examinations after serving on the post for more than three years.
PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar appreciated the services of Prof Dr Shahid Munir as controller of examination. In a press statement, the VC said that Prof Dr Shahid introduced several reforms at Department of Examinations to facilitate candidates and generate revenue for the university. He said modernised/automated the affiliation, registration and various other operations, set up hotline and established the facilitation centre, the VC added.

A PU spokesman said that the administration was considering giving the additional duty of CE to College of Earth and Environmental Sciences Principal Prof Dr Sajid Rashid, who had earlier served as Resident Officer I.The news.
