KP-PSRA notified District Scrutiny Committee for private schools registration
PESHAWAR:16 March: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Private Schools Regulatory Authority (KP-PSRA) has notified District Scrutiny Committee for private schools registration and renewal.
A statement issued here on Thursday stated that the committee would determine correctness of facts for registration, change of category, relocation or merger of a school.
The committee shall have the powers to examine documents, receive statements on oath and direct the applicant to file affidavits.
It can inspect any registered or unregistered school and collect any document for the scrutiny purpose.
The committee members can communicate with students, teachers and any other persons within the framework set by the norms and standard committee.
The chairperson of the committee shall forward report and final recommendations of the committee to the Registration and Inspection Committee for further action.
Recommendations of committee shall be laid down on the basis of decision of majority. However, if any member of committee has different opinion, his views shall be recorded in the proceedings of the inspection. The committee chairperson may personally undertake inspection, order another scrutiny or inquiry if he believed that the report and recommendations do not reflect the facts.
The chairperson may add his findings and recommendations to the report and forward it to the registration and inspection committee for decision.The news.
