Lahore: Punjab University (PU) Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) organised a seminar on ‘Drug Addiction and Abuse: Treatment and Prevention”. Prof Dr Rubina Zakar presided over the ceremony while Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) Director Syed Zulfiqar Hussain and counselor for drug addicts Hamid Hashmi were the chief guests. Dr Rubina said drug addiction was a global issue. She highlighted the importance of raising awareness about it. She said there was a dire need to prevent youth from being drugs addict through engaging them in extra-curricular and productive activities.The news.
