several books of courses not provided on time in Govt schools
PESHAWAR:20 April:The activist of Jamait Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Hassan Garhi Union Council, Sabir Khan, on Thursday criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led provincial government for its failure to provide the textbooks to the students of public sector schools on time.
In a statement, he said that the students of the government schools had started the new academic year but several books of their courses had not been provided on time.
He said that the students of grade-5 to grade-9 were facing shortage of several books of their courses.
“The shortage of books has perturbed the parents of the students,” the JUI-F activist said, adding that the department concerned should fulfill its responsibility to ensure the provision of free textbooks to the students of public sector schools.
He asked the government to take prompt steps for the provision of course books so as to save the precious time of the students.The news.
