AIOU flood-hit students asked to report for books
Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) asked the students of the flood hit areas to report if they have not received books from Matric to PhD level in different disciplines for the Semester Spring 2010.

AlOU Director of Admissions Sohail Nazir Rana said that the books were sent to the students across the country by AIOU and just after few days the country hit by worst flood, thousands of people affected badly, left their homes, belongings and lost their lives.

He said the students of the affected areas whose books have been flown in the flood to contact the nearest Regional Office of the University or register the condition on website www.aiou.edu.pk.

The students can also inform through written application to the Director Admissions, Allama Iqbal Open University. He urged the students who have completed their courses/programme and residing in the flood-safe areas to return the spared study books of the university willingly so that these can be provided to those affected students.
