Fees and subscription once paid shall not be refunded in full or in part.
The students failing to pay the required fee and subscription by the fixed date will be charged penalty of Rs. 100/- month (part of a month will be reckoned as full month) and shall be ejected from the college hostel if their accounts remain due for three successive months. The students will lose the right of seniority at the time of annual allotment if any of their dues are in arrears.

Final year remanded students waiting to appear in the supplementary examination are required to pay the hostel fee and subscription for the period they stay beyond the time for which they had paid during the regular session. The students of other classes who join the hostel after general allotment will be charged from the date of joining till the end of year at the rates prescribed in paragraph 'B' of the hostel rules.

If any student leaves the hostel without settlement of the hostel dues, the amount outstanding against him will be recovered from his security deposit and the student will be fined Rs. 100/- in addition.

Appointments of kitchen servants shall be made by the warden who shall arrange for a complete medical examination before the appointment of the candidate to ensure that they are free from any communicable disease. Their medical examination will be arranged periodically.

Prefects (senior boarders with good academic record and conduct) and assistant warden shall assist the warden in carrying out his duties.

The assistant warden is authorized to punish the boarder for any irregularities or breach in discipline by way of fine not exceeding Rs. 100/-

Fees and subscription for full session are to be paid in the Principal’s office along with the college fee on the dates fixed by the Principal.

The fine incurred on the students in the hostels will be deposited in a separate head in a bank operable by the warden and will be used for the welfare of the students in the hostel.
DISCIPLINE
The warden is responsible for maintenance of proper discipline in the hostel. He is authorized to punish students for any irregularities, neglect of duties or breach of discipline. The warden for any breach of discipline may punish the students by way of a fine not exceeding Rs. 500/-. Complaints proved to be correct after inquiry by the assistant warden shall be brought to the notice of the Principal for information to the parents of the boarders.

Appeals against the orders of the assistant warden shall be made to the warden and those of the warden to the Principal.

No gathering or meeting of boarders shall be allowed in the hostel premises in any case.

No newspapers, periodicals, magazines or any other publication other than those authorized by the Principal shall be brought into the hostels by any boarder.

Every part of the hostel premises shall be open for inspection etc. to the assistant warden, warden, members of the disciplinary committee and the Principal.

No waste shall be interfered with but those must not impede the arrangement for the neatness and cleanliness of the room and premises generally.

Furniture must not be shifted from one room to another.

All damages shall be repaired at the expense of the boarders responsible for the same.

No religious ceremony likely to injure the feelings of the boarders shall be performed in the hostel.

No boarder shall indulge in any amusement, which disturbs other boarders.

Every boarder shall be in his room by 10.30 p.m. (except those who are on night duty in hospital). The assistant warden will go round the hostel at 10.30 p.m. to take the roll call of the students. Boarders are prohibited from leaving the hostel after 10.30 p.m. Any boarder who wishes to stay out after this time, shall take prior permission from the warden. Late comers after the roll call will first report to the assistant warden of their hostel before going to their rooms. Infringement of this rule is a serious offence.

Applications for withdrawal from the hostel should be submitted to the warden.

Any boarder found guilty of persistent violation of rules shall be suspended or dismissed/rusticated from the hostel by the warden.

No boarder shall stay out for the night or spend the week end without prior permission of the warden.

Spitting in public or private rooms, verandahs or stairs is strictly prohibited.

All waste papers and refuse must be placed in receptacles provided for the purposes.

Defacing walls and fixtures is strictly prohibited.

All cases of sickness must be reported to the assistant warden at once for necessary action who may intimate the fact to the warden.

The college is not responsible for loss of any property of the boarders.

Boarders are warned against interfering with the electric fittings.

The use of liquour, other drugs of addiction in the hostel premises is strictly prohibited.

Fire-arms, daggers and iron knuckles etc. are strictly prohibited. Defaulters shall be rusticated.

Any student who is absent from hostel without permission for a period of more than one week, will automatically forfeit his allotment in hostel. Warden will open his room, store the belongings in the store room after making an inventory. The student on return will seek re-allotment of accommodation in the usual way.

Any student who is unable to occupy his allotted seat in the hostel by the notified date for reasons, other than certified illness, for which he will submit a certificate, before the due date will also forfeit his allotment in the usual manner.

No student is allowed to have any political affiliation. Any student involved in such activities is liable to be expelled from the hostel. No political gathering in the form of welcoming parties to new first year class in the hostel is allowed and residents involved in the activity shall be reported to the disciplinary committee.

The hostel authorities will not be responsible for loss of anything from the student’s room. But loss if any should be immediately reported to the assistant warden who may report to the warden. Students are advised not to keep a large sum or other costly items in the room.

 VISITORS


Rights of admission to the hostel premises are reserved.

No stranger shall be admitted inside the hostel premises without the permission of the warden.

No guest shall be allowed to reside in the hostel. Violation of this rule will render the boarder liable for rustication from the hostel in addition to any other penalty which the warden may deem fit.

Boarders are not allowed to keep motor cycle/car in the hostel when the college and hospital are adjacent to the hostel. However, this can be allowed in special circumstances by the warden. The boarder will pay parking chargers, i.e. bicycle: Rs. 25- per month; motor cycle: Rs.50/- month and Rs.100/- per month for a motor car.

The visitors will be seated in the reception room and the students concerned will be informed by the peon after the entry has been made in the visitor’s book.

No female visitors are allowed to enter the male hostel under any circumstances. Only those female visitors can be entertained in the reception room whose names are given in the visitor's list which has been submitted /supplied in the hostel office duly signed by the parents or guardian of the boarder.
