Students can make Pakistan a super power’

LAHORE (PPI): Provincial Minister for Prisons Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan has said that the Muslims all over the world should assess their strength and worth for getting confessed their significance in the comity of nations. He stated this while addressing the prize distribution ceremony at the Government College of Technology, Raiwind Road here Saturday. He stressed the students to make planning for future so that they may easily tackle the difficulties and problems arising in time to come, as this is the era of competition and Pakistan with their efforts and blessings of Allah Almighty would become super power of the world one day. Chairman, Board of Management Toyota Captain Muhammad Akram, addressing the ceremony said that our students after completing their education, should be considered at par with the international standard, as we were in race with under developing countries like India, Thailand, Philippine, Iran and Turkey. The students, he said, would have to get unique position in English language and art so that they may not feel any kind of embarrassment. Chairman, Punjab Board of Technical Education Tariq Mehmood said that we should combat enemies including Israel by obtaining development in science and technology instead chanting merely slogans against them as progress could be achieved through education. District Manager Toyota Muhammad Arif Nadeem Durrani said that our endeavor was to bring Pakistan a country on top in science and technology and students instead holding kalashinkoves, should have highest educational degrees in their hands so that they could serve the country in a better way. Later the prizes were distributed among students getting better positions in curricular and non-curricular activities.
