AIOU students misunderstanding 25 girl students Not attempt CT Exam

Islamabad: About 25 girl students who were to appear in the Certified Teacher (CT) examination of the Allama Iqbal Open University failed to attempt one of their papers on Tuesday due to some misunderstanding.

The students said that they were told by the concerned officials that their examination centre had been shifted from Kernel Sher Kili to Chota Lahor girl high school in Lahor East union council. However, when they reached there they found no hall due to which they could not appear in the paper."Now we have to wait for next year to pass our professional teaching exanimation," said one of the candidates.

When authorities concerned were approached they told this correspondent that the roll number slips clearly mentioned Kernel Sher Kili as the centre for the said paper and the fault lied with the students. But the candidates alleged that they were told by some officials that their centre had been shifted from Sher Kili to Chota Lahor.

The concerned officials stated that the elders of Chota Lahor had also appealed to the AIOU authorities in Peshawar for shifting of the hall.

They said the remaining examination of the teaching cadre would be held at girls high school, Chota Lahor. Dawn
