More medical colleges in NWFP demanded Sikandar Aziz Khan
F.P.Report PESHAWAR: The political advisor to the former caretaker Chief Minister, Sikandar Aziz Khan has stressed the need for establishing more medical colleges in the public as well private sectors in NWFP and greatly commended the decision of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council for recognizing three medical colleges, including the Jinnah Medical College, Warsak Road, Peshawar and allowing them to admit students for MBBS classes for the year 2008-09. In a press statement issued here on Wednesday, Sikandar Aziz Khan said that with this decision of the PM&DC about 150 frustrated students would complete their medical education. He said it was also very encouraging that all the three Frontier colleges had been allowed to admit students for MBBS session 2008-2009. He also expressed gratitude to the PM&DC and NWFP health officers for taking the constructive strides which would give encouraging results.
