Prize distribution ceremony of Islamia College for Women at  Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The NWFP Minister for Higher Education, Qazi Muhammad Asad said that the Provincial Government is making its all efforts for providing educational facilities to the students, by utilizing all resources under comprehensive strategy, so that the targets set for the promotion of Higher Education could be achieved. He expressed these views while addressing first ‘Annual Day’ prize distribution ceremony of Islamia College for Women at Islamia Collage Peshawar. On this occasion he inaugurated the Bibi Jan Block of the collage which has been constructed at the cost of Rs.3.5 million. Besides, Vice Chancellor Ajmal Khan, Secretary Higher Education Ahmed Hanif Orakzai, Principal of the institution Professor Dr. Naseem Mustafa, concerned Officials, Teachers and the students were also present on the occasion. The Minister said that the promotion of Higher Education was must for the real progress of the nation and the universities are playing their vital role in this regard. He said that Islamia Collage had provided precious services for the promotion of Higher Education, which was highly appreciable. He further said that the Provincial Government was giving its priority to the education, so that new generation could be equipped with ornament of quality education. The government also providing special facilities to female students, so that the situation of female education could be improved, he added.
