Dept of Physics:
The Physics Department was established in Govt. Post Graduate College Dera Ismail Khan under the University of Peshawar in 1968 and was transferred to Gomal University in 1974. The efforts have been made ever since to provide conducive environment for academic activities. The teaching staff is busy with full enthusiasm to improve the quality of teaching and research in order to foster the perception level of our students internationally. The department started M. Phil program in 1983 and Ph.D program in 1990. The research facilities are accessible to the students in the specialized fields such as Radiation Physics, Particle Physics, Plasma Physics and Computational Physics.
