Federal Urdu University clash between PSF & IJT

Karachi, Feb 13: Six students were injured in a clash between two student organisations at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology (FUUAST), Gulsahn-e-Iqbal Campus, on Saturday.

Activists of the Pakhtun Students Association (PSF) and Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) fought, using iron roads and clubs freely.

Resultantly, six students - Amanullah, Amir Hamdani, Abdul Rafay, Saad Faroque, Qanit Abdul Rehman, and Ismial Baloch - were injured.

The injured were rushed to the Liaquat National Hospital for medical treatment.

Rangers reached the scene, dispersed the charged activists of both organisations and controlled the situation.

The management of the FUUAST has suspended educational activities for the evening programme after the incident. The news
