B.A. Hons (4 Years Program )

Lahore College for Women University is offering a four year B.A. (Hons) degree program instead of the traditional two year B.A. from the last academic year.  This change will equip students to pursue further higher education and careers and meet national demands and international challenges in the rapidly changing world scenario. Within the new four year B.A./B.S. (Hons) programme, all students shall study English as a compulsory subject for three years, (Part-I, Part-II and Part-III) Islamic Studies in Part-I and Pakistan Studies in Part-II

Special Instruction

   1. The students are required to take one major and two minor subjects termed as Minor-I and Minor-II:
         1. They will study these three subjects in the Year-I.
         2. They will drop Minor-II in Year-II and continue studying Minor-I and Major.
         3. In the Year-III and Year-IV they will undertake an extensive study of Major subject only with special emphasis on research, internship etc
   2. The students who wish to study English Literature, Fine Arts and Design & Visual Arts will have to pass the written test and an aptitude test respectively.
   3. The students are allowed to change their subjects within two weeks of commencement of regular classes. No application for the change of subjects will be entertained after the notified due date.
