Nust inks MoUs with S Korean, Japanese varsities

Rawalpindi: Nust has signed academic agreements with South Korean and Japanese universities for students exchange programmes and joint research, says a press release issued here Sunday.

Memorandum of Understandings were signed by Nust Rector Lt Gen Muhammad Asghar with Hanyang University, South Korea, Ajou University, South Korea and Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, during his recent visit to these institutions.

These agreements cover wide areas of cooperation, including exchange of students, exchange of faculty and staff members, joint research and consultancy services, participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic material and other information, and special short academic programs and projects.

The agreement with Tokyo Institute of Technology includes collaborative research activities in the field of ADS and establishment of a joint research lab at Nust under the banner of 'Mori Lab for ADS Research'. The News
