Army Medical College Rawalpindi holds Medals ceremony

Rawalpindi: June 26:The 27th medals distribution ceremony at the Army Medical College (AMC) was held here at College Auditorium on Friday, says an ISPR press release.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Rehan Burney, surgeon general/director general of the Medical Services (Inter Services) of Pakistan Army was chief guest on the occasion. He awarded medals and distinction certificates to the graduates of 28th MBBS & BDS courses. It is worth mentioning here that Army Medical College is an elite medical institute of the country comprising highly qualified teaching faculty. It was established in 1977 and was affiliated with Quaid-i-Azam University.

Army Medical College was recognised by General Medical Council, UK in 1982. Every year nearly 200 cadets of Medical & Dental discipline graduate from this college. The news
