B.A. /B.S. (Hons) Education (4 Years Program )
This B.A./B.S.(Hons.) program in Education offers a wide range of courses addressing the demands of competent science teachers and leaders in educational institutions / system both in public and private sectors. The program is designed to meet multiple needs of students intending to pursue careers in the field of education and development as planners, managers, science and art teachers, assessment and evaluation experts, researchers, development workers, teacher educators, curriculum developers and related professions. The program is particularly addressing the issue of female science and math teacher’s shortage at school levels. Usually a huge number of educated women are forced to adopt teaching profession due to socio cultural constraints related to family obligations. This unique program provides second opportunity to the students, who discontinued studying science after matriculation, to earn B.S.(Hons) degree.
* Objectives
1. Develop critical and analytical thinking among students through innovative teaching methods, research techniques and courses addressing global challenges.
2. Produce efficient leaders in education sector with competencies in management(including finance), policy decision making, planning and innovative problem solving approaches.
3. Produce competent and effective science and arts teachers equipped with ability to understand the role of culture in promoting ethical, moral values and human rights in context of globalization
4. Make students expert in the domain of measurement, assessment and evaluation to ensure adequate levels of student’s achievement through healthy competition

F.A. / F.Sc. with 60% Marks.
