Roll number slips being dispatched

Rawalpindi:Preparations have been finalised for metric examination as 20,000 to 30,000 roll number slips are being dispatched daily, Controller of Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) Professor Abdul Sattar Ramay said.

Talking to APP he said a total of 114,000 students are taking part in the examination, which is all set to be started from March 13. The board has already issued Roll number slips to 114,000 students, which are being dispatched gradually. The roll number slips can also be seen on the internet.

A total of 363 examination centres including 144 for girls and 149 for boys have been established. Also 1800 examination staff has been deployed including 70 combine centres for boys and girls. In each centre there is one superintendent, deputy superintendent and from 5 to 8 invigilators have also been deployed. While in combine centres the will be two superintendent including one male and one female.

The briefing of the examiners is continued at present, he said adding that the staff of Jhelum, Rawalpindi and Chakwal has been already been completed. Rest of examiners would be briefed in next 72 hours.The news
