Peshawar Board introduces OMR system
PESHAWAR:13 October : The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has introduced the system of Optical Mark Recogniser (OMR) for solving objective papers in the supplementary examination starting from today.
In a press release, BISE Chairman Dr Muhammad Shafi Afridi said that the OMR system would be launched on trial basis. He said invigilators had been trained to deal with the OMR. He said the procedure would be extended to other subjects after its success in the supplementary examination.
The chairman said the OMR system would also be introduced in other boards in the provinces as it would help check the use of unfair means.The news.
