Palestine: The Land of Messengers’ comes to an end at University of Karachi

KARACHI: The two-day exhibition entitled ‘Palestine: The land of Messengers’ held at the Arts Council, Karachi under the aegis of Palestine Liberation Foundation (PLF) Pakistan and the University of Karachi (KU) Visual Studies Department ended on Sunday.

While addressing the prize distribution ceremony of the exhibition, Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza said that the genocide in Palestine was a slap on the face of the so-called champions of human rights. Raza regretted that the Muslim states were silent over the cruelty against the Palestinian people, adding that the present government, all the four provincial assemblies and the parliament of the country have condemned the bloodshed of the Palestinians.

She further said that the government was continuously offering their political, moral and medical support to the oppressed people of Palestine. She underlined the need to raise voices for the oppressed Palestinians and against the Israeli brutality on every forum.
