Quaid-i-Azam University decided to delay terminal examinations
Islamabad:03 April: The Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) decided to delay terminal examinations of the current semester due to prolonged strike of faculty against Vice Chancellor Dr Ashraf.

The strike concluded on March 29 when Dr Ashraf took a 10-day leave, which many believe is his forced leave. The acting vice chancellor, Prof Dr Waqar Shah, told ‘The News’ that the decision to delay the semester by one week was taken in a meeting of the university management heads and all deans.

He said that from now on, the university will close at 6 p.m instead of 4 p.m, which means overall two hours of study will be added to the schedule on a daily basis. He said the university will also remain open on all the six Saturdays that will come before Ramazan. The news.
