BBA (HONS.) MAJOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The mission of BBA programme is to train students in a practical way so that they can become top notch
professionals in the real time organizations. Business and management is an ever evolving field as
innovation is one of its integral parts. Students will be encouraged to take part in brain storming sessions
which will give rise to their creativity. On the other hand class rooms will be simulated business models
in which students will participate so as to better understand the real time job environment. Special
attention will be given to polish the presentation and communication abilities of the students.
The specific objectives of the curriculum are as below:
1-To equip the students with the core concepts, framework, tools and techniques of business management
which will provide a platform to make better and appropriate decisions.
2-To encourage the handling of different and conflicting point of views and to assist the effective
manipulation of assumptions, possibilities and limitations of each set of theories.
3-To develop the students’ ability to define and analyze management issues within the framework of
variety of environmental setting and organizational contexts and application of appropriate prospective
of strategy to given situation.
4-To boost a critical, analytical, flexible and creative thought which achieve aims and objectives through
a critical examination of strategy in different business contexts.
5-Provision of broad spectrum of views to resolve the challenges faced by modern business and to utilize
these views and knowledge to gain competitive advantages. Enabling students to appreciate the impact
of microeconomic and macroeconomic policies on the aspects of economic and political environment at
global level that relate to management decision-making.
6- To explore computer applications in business research to obtain in depth understanding of current
market place and business environment in surroundings.
7- Provide general knowledge of main scientific achievements, research technologies and diagnostic
methods in modern business world.
8- Help students in learning and acquiring skills for maintaining methods independent practical and
research work.
BS Honors is a broad-based, interdisciplinary degree, which gives students an insight into a wide range
of basic and social science subjects. This program is developed in line with the government’s new
education policy for converting the Bachelors degree into 4 years. The program is comprised of 130
credit hours that are to be completed in a total of 8 semesters. Medium of instruction will be English.

own department. In first two semesters, the students have to select any subject offered in their own
