Outstanding FATA students given cash prizes in SSC examination held in 2007 

PESHAWAR: Habibullah Khan, Additional Chief Secretary FATA in a simple but impressive ceremony awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a merit certificate to Cadet Muhammad Jibran Khan, a student of Cadet College Razmak, North Waziristan Agency for his outstanding performance in SSC examination held in 2007 and in F.Sc Part I examination 2008. Cadet Muhammad Jibran topped Bannu Board in the both examinations, said a press release issued here. The ACS (FATA) congratulated the young cadet of Razmak College for his outstanding success and advised him to continue his effort to maintain his academic excellence in future also. He urged the tribal students to emulate the example of Cadet Jibran and strive to attain a highest position for themselves in domain of education and other fields of life. He said that Government is providing all possible facilities to the tribal students. Meanwhilem, a certificate distribution ceremony for the participants of Artificial Insemination Training Program under the “Strengthening of Livestock Service Project (SLSP)”, FATA sub-unit, was held here Saturday at FATA Secretariat. Habibullah Khan, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) FATA was the chief guest. Abid Majeed, Secretary Coordination and Administration FATA, Dr. Muhammad Bashir, Director Livestock FATA and officers of the department were present on this occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Additional Chief Secretary FATA praised the participants of the training and advised them to implement their skills in true spirit. He said that Livestock and Agriculture are the important sectors of rural economy, particularly in FATA and urged the participants to serve the poor livestock farmers of FATA with devotion and consciousness. The SLSP is an umbrella jointly funded project of the Government of Pakistan and Hereupon Union. The project is aimed at supporting the existing structure of Livestock department through trainings and to assist the poor farmers in rearing their livestock and poultry through improved husbandry practices.
