Medical colleges entry test on July 20
Rawalpindi: The entry tests for getting admission in various medical colleges of Punjab would be held simultaneously at 36 centres across the province on July 20, Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences Dr. Mubashir said Sunday.
Addressing a seminar here at Rawalpindi Medical College, he said two centres have been established for the students of Rawalpindi division, one at Siddique Public School Sixth Road and second at Cadet College Hassanabdal.
A total of 1,000 students are likely to appear at each centre. Cheaters would be punished severely and their paper will be cancelled forthwith. Each student would be provided a different question paper thus making cheating almost impossible. He said Punjab chief minister has increased 50 seats at each public sector medical college of the province. When Shahbaz Sharif took over — seats in Punjab Medical colleges were 1,800. Now on open merit the number of seats is enhanced up to 3,000.
