NUST delegation visits Lahore College for Women University
Lahore: A delegation from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, led by Pro-Rector Air Vice Marshal Asif Raza visited the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Monday.
According to a press statement, LCWU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Bushra Mateen briefed the delegation on the varsity activities. The delegates visited different departments of the university and showed keen interest in TV and FM Radio studios in the Mass Communication Department.
Mass Communication Department Chairperson Dr Anjum Zia informed the delegation that the department was focusing on producing manpower compatible for print as well as electronic media and for this purpose audio-video labs had been set up with professional standards. The delegation participated in live broadcastings of LCWU radio channel FM 96.6 NUST Director Academics Brigadier (retd) Zuhr Khan and head of the Mass Communication Department Prof Dr Masroor were also present.
