‘The Role of Islamic Studies Department of Pakistani Universities in Promotion of Religious Harmony’
Allama Iqbal Open University Seminar
Islamabad:Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold a national seminar titled ‘The Role of Islamic Studies Department of Pakistani Universities in Promotion of Religious Harmony’ today (Thursday).
The first session of the seminar will be held at Sir Syed Hall, Islamabad and presided over by Professor Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi, Vice-Chancellor of the University. While Professor Dr. Anees Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, Ripha International University will participate as a chief guest of the first session. The second session of the seminar will be held in the Council Hall of the University, which will be presided over by Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi, Vice-Chancellor, AIOU.
While Justice Fida Muhammad Khan, Judge Supreme Court, Shariat Appellant Bench will be the chief guest.
Dr. Abdur Rauf Zafar, Dr. Noor-ud-Din Jami, Dr. Sahib-e-Islam, Dr. Ghulam Ali Khan, Dr. Hamayun Abbas Shams, Prof. Dr. Saeed-ur- Rehman, Dr. Sohail Hassan, Dr. Junaid Nadvi, Dr. Abdul-Ullah Abid, Mahiuddin Hashmi, Dr. Attaullah Faizi, Dr. Shahid Rafi, Dr. Tahir Mehmood, Madam Aysha, Dr. Ikram wark and other teachers will participate as guest speakers of the function.The news
