ISO Peshawar and "International Ulema Masheikh Council" peace conference
Peshawar:29 November:Religious scholars from different schools of thought and sects at "Peace Conference" have stressed the need for adopting philosophy and footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussein (RA) for establishment of durable peace and called upon the Islamic World for forging unity, harmony and brotherhood to get rid of hegemony of Western powers.

The peace conference held in connection with Muharram under auspices of "International Ulema Masheikh Council" in collaboration with Imamia Students Organisation (ISO), Peshawar division here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Monday.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Religious Affairs and Hajj, Namroz Khan was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Notable speakers among others were Allama Syed Mehmoodul Hassan, Central General Secretary of the Council, Chairman Mualana Shoaib, JUI-F District Ameer, Qari Rafeeq, Allama Syed Jawad Hadi, former Senator, Dr Sheikh Habibullah, from Jamiate Sheikhul Hadis, Mualana Mohammad Younis of Ulema Musheikh Council, Allama Syed Asghar Naqvi, Central Deputy Secretary General, Wahatul Islam Ul Muslameen, Amin Shaheedi and Allama Syed Ayaz Hashmi.

The speakers highlighted the philosophy of Hazrat Imam Hussein (RA) for better live, and termed that his personality as role model and symbol of peace and harmony for the entire Muslim Ummah, who rose against cruelty, violence and oppressive powers.

Allama Mehmoodul Hassan said that the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussein (RA) gave a message of peace, harmony and brotherhood, saying that the problems could be resolved confronting the Muslim Ummah by adopting of lifestyle of Caliphate.

He accused the Western powers of creating conflict and rift among Muslim World through concept of New World Order (NWO).

The Anti-Muslim forces don't want to more stable, prosperous and develop the Islamic World, he observed.

Referring to the Nato/ISAF aircraft unprovoked strike on military check post in Mohmand Agency, he termed it as barbaric act, which was totally against the sovereignty and integrity of the country.

He demanded of the military and civilian leadership for strong retaliation against the attack.

Mualana Shoaib stressed the need of forging unity, interfaith harmony and brotherhood as best way to overcome with the prevailing situation.

He asked the Muslim Ummah to rise against the Western tyranny and to be united for this cause.

Qari Rafeeq from JUI-F said that the Quranic teaching provides a better way of life, which was taught us to shun internal differences and live life with peace, harmony and brotherhood.

Allama Syed Jawad Hadi said that Hazrat Imam Hussein (RA) as symbol of peace for us and a role model for entire Muslim Ummah.

Dr Sheikh Habibullah highlighted the sacrifices of Shuhada Karbala and paid rich tribute to them for keeping Islam alive forever.

He called upon the Islamic world to be united against the West's conspiracy and dictatorial powers.

Allama Syed Ahmad Naqvi also called for following the teaching of Holy Book Qura'an and path of Caliphates for the establishment of everlasting peace in Muslim World.

Mualana Mohammad Younis said that the peace can't be established sans adoption of path of Qura'an and philosophy of Caliphate.

He stressed the need for discoursing sectarian violence by forging unity among their ranks.

Allama Syed Ayaz Hashmi said that the internal differences and division among the Muslim Ummah is the basic reason behind the downfall of Islamic world.

He, while commenting on Nato attack inside Pakistan territories, said that our forces are capable to retaliate any foreign aggression.

He accused that US wants political and economic instability by hatching conspiracy against the democratic government of Pakistan.

The triangular of Anti-Pakistan forces, including Israel, United States, and India were indulged in the nefarious mission, he maintained.
