Lahore : October 01: PUNJAB Minister for Special Education Asif Saeed Manhais has urged the parents of special students to remain in contact with the special institutions to make their children active citizens.
Presiding over a meeting during a visit to an education trust on Monday, the minister said, “It is our collective responsibility to enable the special children to face the challenges of the current age along with polishing their abilities.”
He said the priorities of the “Education for All” programme by the government were to increase abilities and overcome the shyness and fear of the special children. The minister said Special Education Department was encouraging the institutions which were performing well for the special children. He said the government was providing training with the latest technologies to the teachers.
Asif Saeed Manhais said Punjab government was establishing ‘Special Parks’ for special persons.The minister inspected different sections of the education trust and appreciated their efforts.Special Education Director Fazil Cheema was also present.The news.
